FOSSIL SAFARI

Hit the road and check out our dig site or the beach! On this outing, students get to dig up a fossil themselves, with a guaranteed find!

To guide you and supervise the kids during the dig, one or two guides ride the bus with you. In only 10 minutes, you get to the site and the hunt for fossils begins.

After the dig, each fossil is carefully stored in a bag with an identification tag. This makes it easy for kids to present their treasure to family and friends! And, fear not; if you forget, what you learned about the fossilized animal, information can be found HERE.

Each child must bring the following items:

  • Closed shoes (mandatory)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Water bottle
